A good tip is not to get your brush too wet – you don’t want the soap to become too watery. I used this over the sink, but I was trying to be careful to turn off the faucet instead of leaving it running. After you get the activated charcoal soap (to increase absorbency) onto your brush by swirling it over the cleansing mat until you get a good lather, then rinse it off quickly with warm water and let it dry flat.
