Hello friends! Happy Friday! What are you doing this weekend? The kids are on Rodeo break – that’s an Arizona thing!- so we’re enjoying sleep, fun adventures, and no homework (bless you). I’d love to hear what’s going on!

I’m on day 5 of the CBO protocol and going along. It has been very difficult to live without garlic and onions, but I have made many wonderful meals packed with vegetables and protein in addition to supplements. I will share my healing journey in a future post; If you have any questions you’d like me to answer, please write in the comments!

It’s time for the weekly Friday Faves party! This is where I share my favorite finds from the week and around the web. I always love to hear about your favorites too, so please shout out something you love in the comments section below.

Faves Friday 2.23

Casual/Life:

A little getaway to San Diego. The pilot and I spent a little over 24 hours at one of our favorite places for our good friend Jeremy’s 50th birthday. We have been friends with Betsy and Jeremy since Liv was in preschool and they have become like family. We have traveled everywhere with them and will often meet in different places. We flew into San Diego on Saturday morning

and went straight to Liberty Station. We shopped, walked around and had a great lunch at Tender Greens. We hung out at the hotel and then got ready to party!

(While we were getting ready, we watched the John Mulaney special on Netflix. It was such a treat to watch daytime TV together.)

The party was amazing, as expected. Betsy always has the best decor and an incredible spread. Chef Ron and his team were in the kitchen preparing all the food, and they had a bartender on the patio mixing cocktails and specialty drinks.

(I did a poll on IG to see if Pilot should shave off his mustache. 300+ people said YES, while about 16 said he should keep it. Those 16 people were enough to tell him to keep it around haha)

It was a super late, super fun night and somehow I dragged my booty out of bed for a Sunday Lagree class at Define.

If you’re in San Diego, take a class with Carina! We had taught Barre together when we lived in SD, and she is super fun and motivating. I love seeing her face and visiting her amazing studio every time we’re in town!

We had breakfast at Liberty Station – we didn’t leave Point Loma the entire time – and then headed to the airport to make our way back to the crew. It’s wild how just one night can make you feel like a human again and so fresh.

Just started this and already dealing with the hype.

Fashion + Beauty:

Beautycounter’s SUPER exciting launch is coming next week. I haven’t been posting as much about Beautycounter lately because I haven’t been as excited about the new products. I’ve been waiting years for this to arrive and it’s going to be GOOD.

It feels like spring this week, so of course I have my eye on some spring finds. I haven’t been enjoying RTR’s selection that much lately, so I’ll probably hold off for a while and buy for real 😉

Here are some of the things I have in mind:

This midi dress

This short sleep dress

This dress with sandals or dressed up for date nights

These heart earrings

These Birks

These ballet flats

This square neck swimsuit

Fitness, health and good nutrition:

New comeback! I’ve been looking for one for a long time to help support my lymphatic system and found this one cheap on Amazon. It was very easy to set up and it’s fun to play music and dance for 5-10 minutes. As expected, it’s a big hit with kids too.

You must try the best gluten free brownies.

I appreciate this piece of science especially since women usually get the short end of the stick in these things.

Happy Friday, friends!
xoxo
