I’ve always been a fan of mixed desserts. I love the mix of tastes and textures they offer and this beautiful Christmas Snack Mix is no exception! It has the perfect combination of sweet and salty flavors. Complete with peppermint and fun festive colors. It looked so beautiful that I made an extra large batch and wrapped it up as a gift from a neighbor. It looked so cute that I decided to share the recipe with you. Along with cute printable tags I created to go with it.

This holiday snack is perfect to bring to a Christmas party or for a family movie night. I hope your family enjoys this as much as mine!

Easy and delicious Christmas gift giving

I packed this pretty and delicious snack into colorful paper loaf pans. Wrapped in a clear cellophane bag. Then tie it with a ribbon. Then I created a simple and cute gift tag to attach to the top. I love how they turned out! I’ve attached a free printable below so you can easily recreate this holiday gift for your friends and neighbors!

Ingredients we used for this Christmas snack mix:

  • Crispice Cereal– We coat the cereal with caramel mixture and bake it until it is sweet and crisp.
  • popcorn– Our popcorn is drizzled with white chocolate and sprinkled with crushed candy canes.
  • cashew nuts– I love cashews and they add a nice salty flavor.
  • Pretzels– Yogurt covered pretzels are very popular. You can do it yourself. But I choose to buy from the store.
  • M&M– We used regular chocolate candies because a lot has already happened here. But you can use whatever you like.
  • Candy Cane Hersey’s Kiss– These look so pretty in our snack mix!
  • sprinkle– Colorful holiday sprinkles are optional but so much fun, I found some Christmas sprinkles at Walmart.

How to make Christmas snack ingredients:

  1. Make caramel-coated cereal. Heat butter and brown sugar in a small pot for 2 minutes. Drizzle cereal in a large bowl and toss until coated. Bake in a 325 degree oven for 16 minutes, stirring halfway through. Set aside and let cool.
  2. Make white chocolate peppermint popcorn. Spread the popcorn on parchment paper or aluminum foil. Melt white chocolate chips in the microwave. Then pour the melted chocolate over the popcorn. Immediately sprinkle with crushed sugarcane. Allow the chocolate to harden before adding it to the snack mixture.
  3. Combine remaining ingredients. In a very large mixing bowl, add cereal, popcorn, cashews, pretzels, M&M’s, and Hershey’s Kisses. Gently mix together. Sprinkle with sprinkles if desired. Serve immediately or divide into containers for a holiday gift!
