My assessment
I have to start by saying that my mate probably has the most terrible sense of smell. Normally he can hardly smell anything (good or dangerous!) but he can smell this candle! Indeed, it is no exaggeration to say that Filthy Rose hits hard. It is unlikely.
As soon as it’s lit, it quickly fills the room with this amazing heady rose, which then seeps out into the hallways and up the stairs. It fills the home.
The perfume is so subtle. It’s rich and thick and you almost really feel like you’ll be able to touch it! I like the distinction between velvety rose and an attractive leathery vibe that just feels so grown up and edgy. Adult and edgy is one thing I’m totally not, but one thing I want to be, so this light fills the gap!
The standard of the wax itself is excellent. I accidentally touched wax after admiring Filthy Rose and rubbed what I had picked up back on my hand. It is actually loaded with oil and felt really good on my pores and skin plus I used to wear Filthy Rose as a perfume back then! I don’t recommend you do that, but ….. if you are actually careful, it might work!!

The opposite factor I like about Champagne and Smoke Filthy Rose is the glass container it’s available in. It’s absolutely beautiful and a true keepsake that can be used for a myriad of issues as soon as it’s completely burned off. Mine is still getting robust, though that’s a future challenge!
