The sun rose for five minutes yesterday afternoon and for a brief moment it felt like spring was on the horizon.

I sure love all the rain, but I can’t wait to wear cute spring clothes and fun spring colors, and yes, I have all the things on my wish list, LOL!

1. Donna Karan Cashmere Collection

I’m a fan of Donna Karan’s cult favorite deodorant (!), Cashmere Mist, so when I heard the line was releasing a few new versions of the classic scent, I immediately put one of the flankers in my cart.

I really want to smell Cashmere & Tiare Flower, a sunny floral fragrance with top notes of ashoka flower and bergamot, middle note of tiare flower and base of vetiver.

Cashmere and Tunisian neroli also sounds beautiful. It’s a bright citrus floral that’s so sweet to me, with a top note of bergamot, a middle note of neroli and a base of cedar wood.

2. MAC Maximal lipsticks

Well, these look like fun! MAC recently reformulated their matte lipsticks in their new Maixmal formula to make them feel comfortable and silky; I really hope they didn’t mess up my choice of Velvet Teddy!

3. Nike Women’s Low Basketball Shoes

Aka the Dunk Low Pandas! I consider these shoes a classic piece because the combination of black and white is neutral and goes with everything. I think these kicks would add a cute edge to jeans or a solid black or brown outfit!

Side note, I’ve noticed that Nike shoes tend to run a little small on me, so I usually go half a size up with their shoes. However, I read that the Dunks have for male and female sizes and run true to size. Hmmm. I might end up getting my regular size along with the slightly bigger one and keep the best fit.

4. Sam Edelman loafers

While we’re on the subject of shoes, I’ve been eyeing the classic Sam Edleman loafers for so long! I would love to get both the black and brown colors to cover all my wardrobe bases.

5. No-show socks

So here’s something that’s been bugging me for a while — the search for non-annoying no-show socks!

Which ones do you like?

I have yet to find a brand of no-show socks that fit. If you know someone who is particularly great at loafers, please pass on this very valuable and important knowledge ASAP!

6. Trench for swing

Years ago I bought a swing trench coat from J. Crew that I loved and wore all spring and summer.

Alas, after giving birth it no longer fits me like before.

Oh yeah, I think it’s gross how no one ever tells you at the baby shower how your ribs are going to move and how they never seem to go back to how they were. Whoever it is!

The Steve Madden one looks similar to it and I feel like I would wear it a lot.

7. J. Crew Women’s Jacket

In theory, I love J Crew’s style, but the last few times I’ve bought stuff from there, the quality has left a lot to be desired. I love the look of this ladies jacket though and can see myself wearing it often.

Your friendly beauty addict,

Karen
